The Dread Lottery

Hosts Red and Puffer have created an elaborate lottery as a way to discuss horror movies. We've tossed 100 tiles into a bag, each representing a horror movie—from the obscure to the classics—that we've watched together. Then every episode we take 2 of these movies, randomly chosen, and force ourselves to figure out what they have in common. Watching the movies this way entices us to compare and contrast in a manner that reveals interesting, often hidden, meanings and subtext, and shapes our discussion in unexpected ways.
